Amaravati, June 6, 2025: Andhra Pradesh Government has tied up with NVIDIA to impart Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills to students and youth in the state.
The ambitious partnership of AP and NVIDIA aims to skill 10,000 students and promote 500 AI startups in the state.
Andhra Pradesh IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh has been taking utmost care on imparting new age skills to AP youth and actively coordinating with global tech giants and IT companies for the purpose.
Nara Lokesh met Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in last October in Mumbai had sought high-profile CEO’s support to promote AI capabilities in the south Indian state. Now, Nvidia’s South Asia MD Vishal Dhupar and other senior team members met Nara Lokesh in AP Capital Amaravati to sign an MOU.
Besides focusing on promoting AI skills in youth, Andhra Pradesh Govt is also planning to establish a dedicated AI University. The partnership with Nvidia, a global leader in AI capabilities, is expected to help AP even in setting up a vibrant AI University.
